Webinar on the EU Ground Handling Regulation
Online14:00 - 18:10 CET (UTC +1)
Description
This webinar will discuss the draft rules of the future EU Ground Handling Regulation.
What does 'future EU ground handling (GH) regulation' mean for the organisations providing GH services at the EU aerodromes within the scope of Regulation (EU) 2018/1139? It means that, instead of having to comply with 27 different regulations at those EU aerodromes, those organisations will have only one set of rules to follow. This should ensure harmonisation of requirements applicable to the GH services in the EU today.
EASA and a group of GH experts representing all affected stakeholders are working on the draft rules under Rulemaking Task RMT.0728. The rulemaking activity is the third phase of the Ground Handling Roadmap initiated by EASA in 2018.
The purpose of this webinar is to clarify the approach taken in developing the draft regulation and to invite participants to ask questions and provide suggestions for improvement.
The related material to support the webinar discussions consists of the 5 documents which you find in "Event materials".
The consultation on the Working Paper is open until 30 September 2022.
