What is a Qualified Entity?
A Qualified Entity is a legal person accredited by EASA or an EASA Member State competent authority to perform certification or oversight tasks on their behalf
Who is eligible to apply?
Qualified entities shall have their Principal Place of Business within an EASA member state and the majority of experts working for the qualified entity shall be registered within an EASA member state. They shall comply with the essential requirements.
How can I apply to be accredited as qualified entity?
Applications can only be submitted during a call for expression of interest and for the scope applicable to the call. Applicants must submit a duly filled application form FO.ACC.0111 and supporting documents to EASA. More information can be found on the Direct accreditation of Qualified Entities page
My National Authority has accredited me, how can I be included in EASA's list?
Please contact EASA at qualified.entities [at] easa.europa.eu (qualified[dot]entities[at]easa[dot]europa[dot]eu) and request inclusion in the list of accredited entities published on the EASA website. We will then collaborate with your National Authority to establish whether the criteria set for mutual acceptance have been met.
How can I surrender my accreditation certificate?
Please contact EASA at qualified.entities [at] easa.europa.eu (qualified[dot]entities[at]easa[dot]europa[dot]eu) and request the surrender of your accreditation certificate. Please do not forge to cite your accreditation number and reason for surrendering your certificate. EASA will then start the surrender process.
