The example Operations Manual is developed for unmanned aircraft system (UAS) operations in the specific category under specific assurance integrity level II (SAIL II).
It is mandatory for UAS operators to submit such a document when applying for an authorisation, as described in Article 12 of Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947 ‘on the rules and procedures for the operation of unmanned aircraft’.
