Revision 22 from February 2025 of the Easy Access Rules for Air Operations (EAR for Air OPS) incorporates the new and amended Implementing Rules (IRs), as well as the Acceptable Means of Compliance and Guidance Material (AMC & GM) to the Air OPS Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 965/2012).

EASA Executive Director Decision 2025/001/R of 20 January 2025 issuing:
- Amendment 25 to Issue 2 of the AMC and GM to Annex III (Part-ORO); and
- Amendment 24 to Issue 2 of the AMC and GM to Annex IV (Part-CAT)
to the Air OPS Regulation to improve harmonisation between the EU Air OPS regulatory framework and the International Civil Aviation Organization Standards and Recommended Practices (ICAO SARPs) and Documents related to the ICAO Universal Safety Oversight Audit Programme (USOAP) by introducing non-controversial amendments;

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2076 of 24 July 2024 amending:
- the Aircrew Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011); and
- the Air OPS Regulation
as regards the clarification of requirements for cruise relief co-pilots, updates of requirements for flight crew licensing and medical certification, and improvements for general aviation;

Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1111 of 10 April 2024 amending:
- the Aircrew Regulation;
- the SERA Regulation (Implementing Regulation (EU) No 923/2012);
- the Air OPS Regulation; and
- the ATM/ANS Regulation (Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/373)
as regards the establishment of requirements for the operation of manned aircraft with a vertical take-off and landing capability;

EASA Executive Director Decision 2023/023/R of 15 December 2023 issuing:
- Amendment 1 to Issue 1 of the Certification Specifications (CSs) and GM to Part-ORO;
- Amendment 24 to Issue 2 of the AMC and GM to Part-ORO
to incorporate the scientific recommendations of the first study on ‘Effectiveness of Flight Time Limitation (FTL)’ in relation to night duties and late finish duties in order to mitigate the risk of the onset and accumulation of fatigue for aircrews; and
- EASA Executive Director Decision 2023/010/R of 12 July 2023 issuing Amendment 15 to Issue 3 of the AMC and GM to Annex II (Part-ARO) to the Air OPS Regulation, related to the Part-IS regulatory package (Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/1645 and Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/203).
The EAR for Air OPS cover all Annexes to the Air OPS Regulation (Definitions, Part-ARO, Part-ORO, Part-CAT, Part-SPA, Part-NCC, Part-NCO, Part-SPO, Part-IAM), as well as the related CSs, AMC, and GM. They contain the applicable rules for Air OPS displayed in a consolidated, easy-to-read format with advanced navigation features through links and bookmarks.
The EAR for Air OPS are available for free download on the European Union Aviation Safety Agency’s website as pdf as well as in xml format with machine-readable content. As they are generated through the eRules platform, they will be regularly updated to incorporate further changes and evolutions to their content.
