About the event
The Part-IS Implementation Workshop 2025, hosted by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in Cologne is building on the conclusions of the previous workshop to provide further insights on the preparation for the implementation of the new rules.
The aviation community is invited to the event to discuss challenges and share experiences so far related to the management of security risks with a potential impact on aviation safety.
With less than a few months remaining for the implementation of Part-IS, this workshop is the last milestone of its kind open to the wider public allowing for delving into potential implementation challenges and corresponding solutions.
What to expect in the Part-IS Implementation Workshop 2025
The workshop aims to provide further insights and details on the oversight approach by the applicability date while providing further examples that will highlight the safety-driven nature of Part-IS and will help in implementing the regulatory provisions in an effective manner.
The agenda of this event is being formulated considering the feedback received from the previous workshop and from other forums in relation to the main implementation challenges identified so far and the solutions already proposed to counter those challenges.
The draft agenda will be published within the coming weeks.
This event will additionally be live-streamed on the EASA YouTube channel and will remain available thereafter. The link of Day 1 and Day 2 will be made available in this webpage shortly before the event.
Presentations will be made available after the event under ‘Event Materials’ on this page
