About the event
The aviation community is invited to the 2025 EASA-IATA Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) Resilience Workshop, jointly hosted by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Cologne on May 22-23, 2025.
The aim of this year event is to build on the conclusions of the previous workshop and to provide further insights on the growing challenges of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) interference and its impact on aviation operations.
As GNSS disruptions become increasingly frequent and complex, the aviation industry must move beyond reactive containment strategies toward comprehensive, forward-looking solutions.
What we can expect in the 2025 PNT Resilience Workshop
This workshop aims to bring together experts from across industry to explore how to strengthen resilience and ensure operational continuity in the face of evolving threats.
The agenda of this event is being formulated considering the following key topics of discussion:
- Effectiveness of current mitigations
- Sharing of Operational Experience
- Role of ATM and ANSPs
- Regulatory Challenges
- Future Technologies
- Enhanced Civil-Military Cooperation
The draft agenda will be published within the coming weeks.

As attendee of the EASA-IATA workshop on PNT Resilience, you will be able to share the information you receive, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the person who provided the information.

2. not disclosing the identity or affiliation of speakers,
3. using the information solely for purposes that are not detrimental to the interests of the participants and the organisations they represent.
Registration
Registration takes place on a first come, first served basis . To ensure that all interested parties will be represented in the workshop, EASA reserves the right to select participants. We therefore strongly recommend limiting the participation to max. two representatives per organisation.
