Description
The Rotorcraft Symposium is the European reference event which provides a forum to discuss developments in the rotary wings domain and their safety objectives and achievements.
The discussion will address Initial and Continuing Airworthiness Certification Standards, research projects, safety enhancement developments such as on future Main Gear Box Design, Performance Based Navigation (PBN) specifications, Required Navigation Performance (RNP), EASA’s Safety Risk Portfolio for the different helicopter operations, and several topics currently developed by the recently created Rotorcraft Sectorial Committee.
Call for papers
Since more than a decade the Symposium’s success has been based on the support from those presenting and on the high quality of their subjects as proposed. While papers are welcomed in the areas mentioned above or on any other topic related to the rotorcraft industry and its safety of flight.
Feel free to submit one or more proposals for presentation, consisting of a title plus an abstract of up to 300 words, by 21 October 2017 to Jean Marc SACAZES via e-mail at jean-marc.sacazes [at] easa.europa.eu (jean-marc[dot]sacazes[at]easa[dot]europa[dot]eu) . Following an internal review of the proposals, the Agency will promptly notify the authors of the selected papers, who will need to provide their final papers not later than 11 November 2017.
