Purpose
For the purpose of compliance with Annex IV of Regulation (EU) 1178/2011, points MED.A.025 and MED.A.050 where the aero-medical examiners (AME) are required to send the medical files to the medical assessor to the competent authority which issued the pilot licence, and with Annex VI of Regulation (EU) 1178/2011 point ARA.MED.150 (d) where the competent authorities are required to maintain a list with the AMEs authorised in their Member State, the Member States are asked to provide the contact detail of the medical assessors and the link to the list of authorised AMEs.
