The 4th edition of the DRF Luftrettung HHO (Helicopter Hoist Operations) Symposium took place on September 10-11, 2024, at the Operation Center Baden Airpark (EDSB). 

The HHO Symposium has been successfully established in 2021 as a European expert platform for hoist professionals to meet and address safety challenges, quality standards and innovation.
 

In the 2024 edition, experts from hoist manufacturers, operators and training providers gathered to discuss new trends in training and innovation in helicopter hoist operations.

The presentation entitled “Release PCDS Pilot Training Guide” was given on September 11 by Alexander Weissenboeck, Airbus Helicopters, leading the ESPN-R Hoist Operations Safety Promotion Task Force, co-animated by Julien Eymard, Leonardo Helicopters.
