There are a couple of documents I would recommend:
1. UK CAA CAP 696 - it has procedures and examples for all types of aircraft including Single engine and multi-engine piston aircraft https://publicapps.caa.co.uk/docs/33/CAP696.pdf
2. In terms of EASA regulation, you can find the requirements for M&B on Air Ops (Regulation (EU) 965/2012 on air operations) Annex IV CAT.POLMAB (Section 3, Chapter I)

the aircraft specific procedure should be outlined in the Flightmanual of the plane in question.

For a GA aircraft usually Annex VII (Part-NCO) of Air Ops applies. Point NCO.POL.105 Weighing, the related GM1 NCO.POL.105 provides the details to determine whether a new weighing is due.
