Hello everybody.

It is time for our RWY to be repainted and I would like some advice from the experts regarding Operational Safety.

The problem is that we have to remove the existing thermoplastic painting with a water blasting method, wait for dry and then repainted with acrylatic painting. Most of the nights, we only have a window of two hours and half, so most probably we will have to open the RWY in the morning without everything painted. For example if we erase the RWY Centreline (we can erase lines alternatively) can we open the RWY next day, operate the Airport and then repainted next night?

I have been looking for some regulations in EASA which support this kind of procedure but I didn't find any. Of course I asume that we will have to publish NOTAM and to make a risk assesment.

Any of you have any thoughts about it? Have you had experience in a similar project before?

Thank you in advance.
