A major output of the GA Roadmap has been published today, proposing airworthiness regulations proportionate to the risks in general aviation. See the opinion No 05/2021.
This new concept for the airworthiness was developed in close coordination with authorities and stakeholders in various workshops. Using the declaration options that were included in the Basic Regulation when that was changed in 2018. You can find out more about Part 21 Light in the video below.
A great initiative by EASA. Part 21L will let us engineers spend more time doing actual engineering.
