I have a question regarding AMC6 ATS.TR.220 Application of wake turbulence separation.
It states the distance-based wake turbulence separation minima that are to be applied to aircraft being provided with an ATS surveillance service in the approach and departure phases of flight. These values in part seem to differ from PANS-ATM (Chapter 8, 8.7.3.4).
For example for a Heavy following a Super, PANS-ATM prescribes 5.0 NM where the AMC6 ATS.TR.220 prescribes 6.0 NM.
Does anybody know what the reason for this difference is and whether it is intentional?
I could not find anything in the rulemaking documentation (Explanatory Notes, Opinions, CRDs, etc.).

The change you mentioned was introduced by Amendment 9 of PANS-ATM. The related amendment to AMC6 ATS.TR.220 will be introduced via RMT.0719 Subtask 4b (NPA scheduled in Q1 2023). Until publication of the ED Decision, the actual AMC is applicable.

Just take the opportunity to add another question about separation between HEL and airplane at stand or/and airplane during taxi. This is more a question for Airport OPS and AMS.
I am looking for EASA rules to have clear values of separation between and HEL (take off/landing) and a airplane at stand.
Same question for an HEL (take off/landing phase) other an airplane on the taxiway.
