EASA’s Technical Training aims to achieve and maintain the highest possible levels of competency, and to remain current on the latest developments in aviation safety. The Agency therefore develops and provides state-of-the-art training courses – both online and class room delivery - to its Staff and its Stakeholders, including personnel from National Aviation Authorities and other aviation sectors.
When necessary, training from selected, recognised leading providers can be procured through tenders and calls for the expression of interest. For more information on such opportunities, please consult the procurement page.
EASA Learning Gateway (ELG) portal:
Amongst others the ELG offers:
Enrolment can be done through the appointed representative of your organisation (in the case of National Aviation Authorities), or by completing the Application for EASA Technical Training Form. For further information, please contact the ELG Training Team: email@example.com.
ELG fees are established by ED Decision 2013/003/E. The Agency reserves the right to change the fees without notice, as well as alter published dates due to operational reasons. Charges for specific training courses at the request of external parties are applied in accordance with ED Decision 2008/068/A and ED Decision 2008/122/A.
EASA has also developed a web-based e-examination system on EU aviation legislation that is available to students of training organisations or self-trained students through selected EASA e-examination providers:
EASA e-examinations are typically taken voluntarily after completion of an associated training course and are subject to a charge. They are taken under the supervision of training organisations or other EASA e-examination providers. An EASA statement of achievement is awarded to candidates who successfully pass the e-examination.
N.B.: Please note that there is no relationship between EASA e-examination and the examinations foreseen under Part 147 / Part 66 or the Aircrew Regulation.

NAAs of Member States can use the EASA e-examination system free of charge when training their own staff. Organisations and NAAs interested in becoming an EASA e-examination provider are kindly invited to contact the EASA Technical Training Department for further information: firstname.lastname@example.org.
