Annual safety review

The Annual Safety Review is compiled by EASA to inform the public of the general safety level in the field of civil aviation as required by Article 15 (4) of Basic Regulation (EC) 216/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 February 2008.

To prepare the reviews the Agency had access to accident information collected by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) through its Accident/Incident Data Reporting (ADREP) system as well as accident statistics published by ICAO. In addition, EASA Member States made data available on light aircraft accidents for the year 2006.

You can find the Annual Safety Review in the general publications section.
