The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) today published the Examiner Differences Document

The European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) today published the Examiner Differences Document, which has been developed by the Agency based on the information provided by the EASA Member States (MS) in accordance with the recently amended provisions contained in ARA.FCL.210 in Annex VI (Part-ARA) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 290/2012.

This document contains the latest available information on the relevant national administrative procedures, requirements for protection of personal data, liability, and fees for each MS in accordance with the recently amended requirement FCL.1015 in Annex I (Part-FCL) of Commission Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011.

It is intended for use by examiners with a Part-FCL examiner certificate when conducting a Licence Skill Test (LST), Licence Proficiency Check (LPC) or Assessment of Competence (AoC) on a Part-FCL licence holder whose licence was issued by a competent authority (CA) other than their own. The Examiner Differences Document replaces the mandatory briefing and the pre-notification which was required so far.
