
L'Agence Europeenne de la Securite Aerienne est la cle de voûte de la strategie de securite aerienne de l'Union europeenne. Sa mission est de promouvoir le plus haut niveau possible de securite et de protection environnementale de l'aviation civile.
Une strategie commune
L'avion compte parmi les moyens de transport les plus sûrs. Neanmoins, la croissance du trafic aerien impose une initiative commune au niveau europeen afin de garantir la securite et la durabilite du transport aerien. L'Agence developpe les règles communes en matière de securite et de protection environnementale au niveau europeen. Elle surveille l'application uniforme des normes au moyen d'inspections dans les Etats Membres. Elle procure l'expertise technique, la recherche, ainsi que les formations necessaires. L'Agence travaille en
etroite collaboration avec les autorites nationales, qui continuent à assurer de nombreuses tâches operationnelles - telles que la delivrance des certificats individuels de navigabilite des aeronefs ou les licences de pilotes. (pour en savoir plus...)
