Ühine strateegia
Lennutransport on muutunud turvalisimaks reisimisviisiks. Lennuliikluse mahu suurenemisega on vaja kogu Euroopa tasemel uhisalgatust lennutranspordi pidamiseks turvalise ja jätkusuutlikuna. Enamik vahetult lennundustegevusega seotud ulesandeid - nagu uksiklennukite sertifitseerimine ja lendurite litsentseerimine - on praegu liikmesriikide asutuste pädevuses, amet aga arendab uhiseid ohutus- ja keskkonnaeeskirju Euroopa tasemel.
