Euroopa Lennundusohutusametil on Euroopa Liidu lennundusohutuse strateegias keskne roll. Ameti missioon on edendada tsiviillennunduses uhtseid parimaid ohutus- ja keskkonnakaitsenorme.
Ühine strateegia
Lennutransport on muutunud turvalisimaks reisimisviisiks. Lennuliikluse mahu suurenemisega on vaja kogu Euroopa tasemel uhisalgatust lennutranspordi pidamiseks turvalise ja jätkusuutlikuna. Amet jälgib normide kohaldamist liikmesriikides tehtavate kontrollkäikudega ning pakub vajalikke tehnilisi eriteadmisi, väljaõpet ja uuringuid. (read more...)
