Agencia Europea de Seguridad Aérea
La Agencia Europea de Seguridad Aerea es el componente esencial de la estrategia de seguridad aerea de la Union Europea. Su mision es promover los mas altos niveles comunes de seguridad y de proteccion del medio ambiente de la aviacion civil.
Una estrategia común
El transporte aereo se ha convertido en el medio de desplazamiento mas seguro. El continuo aumento del transporte hace necesario formular una iniciativa común a escala europea para mantener la seguridad y la sostenibilidad del transporte aereo. Aunque las autoridades nacionales continúan ejerciendo la mayoría de las tareas operativas, como la certificacion de productos aeronauticos particulares o el otorgamiento de las licencias de pilotos, la Agencia elabora normas medioambientales a nivel europeo, supervisa la aplicacion uniforme de las normas a traves de inspecciones en los Estados miembros y proporciona la experiencia tecnica especializada y la formacion necesarias (leer mas...)
